Front surface mirrors are special technical mirrors in which the reflective coating is applied to the front of the glass.
Depending on the technical application, front surface mirrors are designed according to your requirements. High reflections over a long wavelength range can be achieved with coatings of high-purity aluminum, silver, or gold. Maximum reflections well over 99% can be achieved for certain wavelength ranges with dielectric coatings.
